Police looking for suspects who threw feces at Kshama Sawant’s house

Seattle Police Detectives need your help to identify a suspect who allegedly threw bags of feces at the residence of a city councilwoman on multiple occasions.

SPD said Oct. 13, officers were called to the Leschi neighborhood for a report of harassment with possible political motivations.

Councilwoman Kshama Sawant said her residence has been targeted multiple times in October, with an unknown suspect throwing plastic bags filled with human excrement into her yard between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Officers said earlier in the evening, friends of the victim were watching the home when the suspect threw a plastic bag, containing several individual bags of suspected human feces, into the yard.

Friends of Sawant reportedly confronted the suspect and snapped multiple photos as he ran away.

Witnesses described the suspect, as an Asian man, approximately 5-feet-4 inches tall.

Seattle Police said at this time, the department has not found any evidence this case would meet the city or state standards for hate crime laws, but SPD will follow available leads should new information arise.

Seattle store robbed by repeat suspects

Seattle Police Officers responded to a robbery Thursday night, and officers interviewed store security, who said employees at the business recognized the suspects from previous incidents.

Security told police the suspects took a shopping cart full of items and tried to exit the store.

Police said when security approached the suspect, they pulled out a knife. Security backed away from the suspects and called 911.

The suspects left the area in a vehicle prior to the officers’ arrival. An area check was negative for the suspects.

Robbery at Kitsap HS, suspect in custody 

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says earlier this week at Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, a 17-year-old who does not attend the school entered the building with a loaded handgun.

Deputies say preliminary information points to the suspect committing a robbery while in the school.

The Sheriff’s Office says no students or faculty were injured. The suspect was taken into custody by deputies.

The investigation is still ongoing. According to investigators, there are no other outstanding suspects.

Seattle High School student expelled for bomb threat

According to Seattle Police Tuesday, a high school reported a student made a Google search involving a bomb threat. The assistant principal brought the student into the office the next day.

The student admitted to the Google search and was searched in the office. The student reportedly had four knives on him. He was expelled from school and went home with his father.

The assistant principal requested police respond to collect the knives and arrest the student. Officers went to the student’s residence and arrested him without incident.

He was transported to King County Youth Services Center and booked.
