Shooting outside University District Raising Cane’s sends 1 to hospital, suspect at large

A shooting in Seattle’s University District sent one victim to the hospital after they were shot outside of the Raising Cane’s restaurant.
At 2:25 a.m., the University of Washington Alert Service reported the shooting at the corner of University Way and N.E. 45th Street, according to KIRO 7.
Police actively search for male suspect who fled the scene
People in the area were advised to avoid the area and to look out for a male suspect wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. The suspect is on the loose and was last seen traveling north.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in an unknown condition.
The Seattle Police Department set up crime scene tape and blocked streets in the immediate area of the shooting scene.
The roadway was cleared by 4 a.m., but UW reported that the suspect is not yet in custody.
