A woman stabbed multiple times near Redmond Town Center has been released from the hospital after a two-month recovery, the Redmond Police Department announced.

Judith Walker was attacked from behind on Jan. 24 around 10:45 a.m. while walking on the Bear Creek Trail. She spent two months recovering at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

On Tuesday, Walker and her family visited the Redmond Police Department to thank officers, first responders, and the bystander who called 911.

“Judith and her husband were visiting Redmond from out of state at the time of the attack,” according to a news release from the Redmond Police Department. “Her family shared that she is alive today because of the quick actions of a Good Samaritan who immediately called 911, the rapid response from Redmond Police and EMS, and the life-saving care she received at Harborview.”

Redmond Police still looking for suspect

The suspect remains at large. Police describe him as a man of medium build, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a bumpy complexion.

“He was wearing a green hoodie with white lettering, jeans, and a black beanie on the day of the attack,” the release said. “A $50,000 Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information that leads to the identification of the suspect.”
