Masked burglars steal $50K in Seahawks gear from store near Lumen Field

A group of masked burglars stole more than $50,000 worth of Seattle Seahawks merchandise from a sports store near Lumen Field on Sunday morning.
At approximately 4 a.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to the burglary in the 1000 block of 1st Avenue S., SPD announced.

Upon arrival, officers met with staff members who reported the break-in.
Security footage “showed three masked suspects break in through the front door, stealing merchandise, all three suspects leaving through the front entrance,” according to the police report.
The business reported an estimated $2,300 in property damage as a result of the burglary.
All the suspects fled the scene before SPD officers could arrive, and SPD was unable to make any arrests.
