Seattle man pepper-sprayed, stabbed over food in Belltown attack

A man was attacked by a group of individuals in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood after he refused to give them his food.
According to multiple witnesses, the victim got off a bus at approximately 4:45 p.m. He was carrying food when several people approached him and asked for it. When he refused, one suspect among the group pepper-sprayed him and demanded the food again before stabbing him in the chest.
The suspects evaded the scene, near Blanchard Street and 2nd Avenue, after they stabbed the man. No arrests have been made.
The victim, 57, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
