Seattle police arrest 25-year-old man with more than $200K in outstanding warrants

A 25-year-old man with more than $210,000 in outstanding warrants was arrested by the Seattle Police Department (SPD) Monday.
According to SPD, the arrest was made possible thanks to a stolen license plate and surveillance cameras.
On Dec. 29, just after 12 a.m., police spotted an Audi SUV with a mismatched plate. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. The Real Time Crime Center tracked the SUV speeding the wrong way down Bell Street.
The next day, officers found the vehicle abandoned. Using RTCC footage, SPD identified the suspect and subsequently arrested him at a nearby park. The suspect had the Audi SUV key in his possession at the time of his arrest, in addition to other stolen property.
The suspect had more than $210,000 in outstanding warrants, including a $150,000 escape warrant, $45,000 attempted burglary warrant, and multiple burglary warrants totaling more than $15,000.
He was booked into King County Jail.
