Two people shot in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood Tuesday night

Two people were shot Tuesday night in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed.
The shooting occurred near Boren Avenue and E. Yesler Way at approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday. An adult man was shot in the abdomen, while an adult woman was shot in the upper thigh. Both were taken to Harborview Medical Center and are in serious condition, as of this reporting.
“The suspect left the scene shortly after the shooting,” SPD stated. “Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect.”
An SPD Gun Violence Reduction Unit is leading an investigation into the cause of the shooting.
