Renton Police are asking for tips from the public to help them catch a suspect connected to a series of commercial burglaries.

Officers said in the past few weeks, several local business owners have experienced a series of burglaries involving this suspect. In the picture, the suspect and his truck used in the crimes can be seen.

According to Renton PD, during the burglaries, the suspect rams his truck into the front of the businesses, jumps in, and steals cash left in registers, electronics, and other expensive items left lying around. The suspect can get in and out of the business very quickly.

The burglaries are happening all over Renton, in the downtown area, the Highlands, and South Renton, and always during late or early morning hours when the business is closed.

Renton Police say the suspect is a white male, 20 to 30 years of age. He is 6 feet tall with a slim build. In several of the burglaries, he has worn dark clothing, a dark baseball hat or white stocking cap, and a mask.

The suspect’s vehicle is a White Ford Ranger, between the years of 1995-2000, missing its rear-end bumper and tailgate.

The new Violent Crime Reduction Unit (VCRU), with members of the Everett Police Department and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a residence in the 1700 block of 96th Street SW in Everett for a wanted subject with felony warrants.

Officers said the suspect was leaving the garage when they arrived on the scene, and he saw law enforcement and ran back inside. Deputies attempted to communicate with the suspect via a PA system, but he didn’t respond or exit the residence.
