2 teens in serious condition after drive-by shooting in Chinatown

Two teens are in serious condition after a driver pulled up and shot them in the Chinatown-International District Tuesday.
“A sedan pulled up to the victims. There was some kind of altercation. Then that’s when the gunfire happened,” Seattle Police Department (SPD) Detective Brian Pritchard told KIRO Newsradio.
A 16-year-old was hit twice in the torso and in the hand. A 19-year-old was hit in the hand and the ankle, Pritchard said.
Seattle officers responded around 4:10 p.m. to South Jackson Street. Both teens were rushed to the hospital in serious condition, but are expected to survive.
The sedan was last seen headed east.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911.
