SeaTac shooting suspect’s death ruled suicide, identity revealed

A man who died following a deputy-involved shooting in SeaTac has been identified as 33-year-old Frank Huy Ho.
The King County Medical Examiner ruled his manner of death was suicide.
The incident happened July 19 at the intersection of S. 192nd Street and 16th Avenue S.
The Valley Independent Investigative Team (VITT), which handles officer-involved incidents, said the investigation remains active as detectives continue examining the evidence. The team is investigating the involvement of a King County Sheriff’s Office deputy, who allegedly fired shots during the incident.
“VIIT investigators are still examining the evidence to determine the facts of the case,” VITT reported.
The Renton Police Department is leading the investigation.
