2 men critically injured in double stabbing in Seattle’s Chinatown, suspect at large

Two adult men were critically injured in a double stabbing on Sunday evening in the Chinatown-International District.
At approximately 6:49 p.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to reports of a male who was covered in blood near 10th Avenue S. and S. Weller Street, SPD announced.
Both victims transported to Seattle hospital in critical condition
As officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. SPD administered medical aid until Seattle Fire Department (SFD) medics arrived and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
As officers searched for the suspect, SPD located a second victim near 12th Avenue S. and S. Weller Street. The adult male had also suffered multiple stab wounds.
SPD provided aid, and SFD transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
SPD’s Real Time Crime Center aided in the investigation, providing officers with information on the suspect’s possible direction of travel.
Officers cordoned off the area and searched for the suspect with assistance from patrol officers across multiple precincts and SPD K9. The King County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist with the search.
Law enforcement was unable to locate the stabbing suspect.
Homicide and Assault Unit detectives are leading the investigation and will work to determine the events preceding the assaults.
