Three arrested after stolen cars found driving ‘in tandem’ in Tukwila

Three people were arrested Wednesday after the Tukwila Police Department found two separately stolen cars driving “in tandem.”
At approximately 6 p.m. Wednesday, the police department was alerted to one of the stolen cars via a Flock notification. As they searched for the vehicle, another auto theft occurred.
Shortly after, detectives with the department’s Special Emphasis Unit located both vehicles traveling together north on Macadam Road S.
“The vehicles fled from detectives who did not pursue,” the Tukwila Police Department stated. “Shortly thereafter, one of the involved vehicles occupied by three individuals struck an object and became disabled just north of Foster Park.”
All three suspects subsequently fled on foot, but were rounded up by officers.
“One sustained a broken arm as a result of the collision,” the Tukwila Police Department wrote.
