Man killed in Tacoma’s Hillsdale neighborhood early Wednesday morning

A man was killed in Tacoma just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Tacoma Police Department confirmed.
Officers were called to the 6900 block of E. D Street in Tacoma’s Hillsdale neighborhood after multiple people reported hearing gunfire. When they arrived, they found an adult man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately began lifesaving efforts, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives and crime scene technicians are now investigating the case as a homicide.
No arrests have been made, and no suspects are in custody, as of this reporting.
