Impaired driver runs over victim in Thurston County domestic violence incident

One person was arrested after they allegedly ran over another person with their car following a domestic violence altercation inside the vehicle.
The incident occurred off Yelm Highway in Thurston County Tuesday night, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO).

Thuston County Sheriff Derek Sanders announced on social media that deputies learned of a physical altercation that started inside a car, which caused serious injuries to the victim who was hit by the vehicle. The victim was later transported to a local hospital.
Sanders noted that the driver showed signs of impairment and evidence of alcohol consumption was present inside the vehicle.
Additionally, the driver is currently under arrest for vehicular assault.
