A Kitsap County sheriff’s deputy used a spike strip to stop a driver going 110 mph on Highway 3 early Tuesday morning.
The spikes punctured all four tires, and the car skidded to a stop near the Anderson Hill overpass.
Deputies said the vehicle matched the description of a car sought by Jefferson County authorities.
“It turns out the man Jefferson County deputies were looking for had swapped the vehicle out with another man who was now driving his car along with a female passenger,” the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said in a video news release.
