Woman found dead in Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman whose body was found in Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood.
Officers responded Sunday afternoon to reports of a body at an apartment building near Northeast 143rd Street and 12th Avenue Northeast. The woman was found dead inside one of the units at about 12:20 p.m., police said in a blotter post.

While the King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death, police said the victim had “obvious signs of trauma.”
No arrests have been made.
