Woman fatally stabbed in Milton apartment, police say

A woman was fatally stabbed in Milton Monday afternoon, the police department confirmed.
Just before 2 p.m., officers with the Milton Police Department responded to a report of an assault at an apartment near Milton Way and 24th Avenue Court. When they made their way inside the apartment in question, they found an unresponsive woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman was arrested at the apartment complex, according to the department. The relationship between the victim and the suspect is unclear at this time.
