Seattle’s longest-running independent festival is back for another year.
Bumbershoot is returning to the Seattle Center for Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30 and Aug. 31.
Festivalgoers can officially start planning, as set times have been released on Bumbershoot’s website.
There will be three stages to choose from: Fountain, Mural, and Vera.
Dozens of artists playing at Bumbershoot
Dozens of artists will be performing each day, including Janelle Monae, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Sylvan Esso, Scowl, and Day Soul Exquisite.
Saturday will close with Weezer, Pattie Gonia, and Tezatalks, while Sunday will end with Aurora, Bob the Drag Queen, and Small Paul.
Not only will there be music, but also a variety of visual arts and culinary booths.
Check out a fashion show, watch a wrestling match, grab a Good Dog Hot Dog, or sip on a Seattle Cider Company hard cider.
“Celebrating creators and innovators of all kinds, Bumbershoot breaks stereotypes, champions a more inclusive art community, and bets on the dreamers, makers, and performers who call the Pacific Northwest home,” the event wrote on its website.
