An 8-year-old girl was in the backseat wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The boy was taken to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma where he died Sunday night when he was taken off life support. Randall was taken to Tacoma General Hospital and is recovering.

Randall and 9-year-old Donovan Best were ejected.

Troopers say Jayce L. Randall had been drinking and smoking marijuana when he lost control early Saturday and rolled his car near Gig Harbor.
