Burger Review: Little Big Burger

I’m on a mission to find the best burger in the city of Seattle. I travel to various burger joints within city limits and rate the establishment’s most popular burger on a scale of 1-10. Of all the measures I use, taste is most important.

This week, I went to Little Big Burger, located in the Wallingford neighborhood. Their specialty is a small, packed, powerhouse cheeseburger, which comes with ‘cascade farms natural beef, your choice of cheese, lettuce, pickle, red onion and Camden’s catsup on a brioche bun.’ The size of the burger is in the name: Little. It is thick, however, comes medium cooked, naturally, and delivers huge taste.

It’s a delicious burger and the brioche bun does a great job complimenting the flavor. The onions deliver a tangy-like kick and add to the overall taste. The other vegetables come fresh and the pepper-jack cheese (my personal favorite) was melted on nicely.

With the burger being intentionally small (1/4 Ib. patty), it’s obviously not going to fill you up. But the good part about it is, one burger only costs you $5. You can go back and buy a second and not have to worry about financials. It comes as no surprise to me that Little Big Burger is opening up two new locations: Capitol Hill and in the Green Lake area.
