Edmonds Block Party Returns

Live music, local food, and family-friendly fun is making its way back to downtown Edmonds with the Edmonds Block Party. Taking over the Civic Center Playfield Aug. 7-8, the event will have performances from Hell’s Belles, Nite Wave, and several other local tribute bands, along with vinyl DJ sets, beer gardens, food vendors, axe throwing, mini golf, and a family zone on Saturday. Hosted by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, the gathering also serves as a fundraiser supporting community events throughout the year. More information can be found here.

Movies in the Park in Marysville

Summer movie nights are continuing at Jennings Park with Marysville’s free Movies in the Park series. Upcoming screenings are “The SpongeBob Movie” on Aug. 7, “Moana 2” on Aug. 14, and “Zootopia 2” on Aug. 21. Guests can arrive early to find a spot and enjoy pre-show activities before the movies begin around 9 p.m. Get more details here.

Dark Star Orchestra Comes to Woodinville

Fans of the Grateful Dead ought to head to Chateau Ste. Michelle on Aug. 7: The Dark Star Orchestra is bringing its live concert experience to the winery’s summer concert series. Rather than performing the same set each night, the band draws from the Grateful Dead’s extensive catalog, making every show different. The concert begins at 6 p.m., and gates open about an hour before the show. Get tickets here.
