Tech-Forward Private School Coming to Kirkland

Alpha School has announced plans to open 27 new private K-12 school campuses across the United States for the 2026-27 school year — including a new location in Kirkland.

Other new campuses are planned for communities including Denver, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Atlanta, and Miami Beach.

The new campuses will use Alpha’s existing academic model, with students spending two hours each morning on mastery-based core subjects. Students work with guides who provide individual coaching, while afternoons are devoted to workshops focused on skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership and entrepreneurship, according to a press release.

Enrollment for the upcoming school year is currently open, with families able to apply through Alpha School’s website. The network described the expansion as one of its largest single additions of campuses to date.
