Thermal Spa Planned for The Lodge at St. Edward

A Nordic-themed spa is coming to The Lodge at St. Edward in Kenmore.
Plans are moving forward to transform the property’s long-vacant pool building into a suite of new amenities, according to published reporters.
The approximately $40-million expansion would introduce indoor and outdoor thermal pools, steam rooms, cold-plunge experiences, and other spa treatments.
Developer Kevin Daniels has partnered with Montreal-based STROM Group, a wellness company that operates more than 10 thermal-spa destinations across North America. Before construction can begin, the proposal will require approvals from the Washington State Parks Commission and the city of Kenmore — including a potential amendment to the property’s long-term lease.
