Woodinville’s lucky “7s” are ready to go national.
For years, Woodinville Whiskey Co. has long offered its single barrel cask strengths to whiskey clubs and tour experiences. Now the company is releasing those handcrafted bourbon and rye whiskeys nationally.
Bottles of the Woodinville Single Barrel Cask Strength 7 Year Bourbon and Woodinville Single Barrel Cask Strength 7 Year Rye will vary in proof by barrel and will retail for $69.99.
“We really wanted to elevate our single barrel program,” said Brett Carlile, Woodinville co-founder and head distiller. “I personally taste hundreds of barrels and pick only the best ones to ensure they are something very special.”
The aging process, Carlile said, “… adds a tremendous amount of depth and character to the whiskey.”
In addition its newfound national availability, the whiskey is still available for purchase online at the Woodinville Whiskey website and at tasting rooms in Woodinville and, by appointment, in Quincy.
Upcoming Woodinville releases include a 10-year bourbon this fall.
