MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network has opened a new outpatient therapy center in Tacoma.
The 16,000-square-foot facility began serving patients on June 30 and offers physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapy, along with audiology and in-house orthotics and prosthetics.
“Many of our patients rely on at least two forms of therapies, often requiring multiple weekly appointments,” Jeff Poltawsky, president and market leader of Mary Bridge, said in a recent press release. “Our goal is to provide ease of access for all patient families, so their appointments can be consolidated under one roof and be as minimally disruptive to their lives as possible.”
The project was developed by Rush Development, while the Mary Bridge Brigade contributed $4 million toward therapy equipment, furnishings, and interior improvements. It is located near the new Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and within three miles of more than 45 schools.
