Providence’s North Division Names New CEO

Kristy Carrington, CEO of Providence Swedish North Puget Sound, is soon assuming the role of CEO of Providence’s North Division, MSN reported.
The role takes effect later this month.
Carrington succeeds Kevin Brooks, who is transitioning to a new role as chief executive of Providence Clinical Shared Services, the article said. Starting Aug. 24, Carrington will oversee operations in all of western Washington and Alaska.
Carrington has served as CEO of Providence Swedish North Puget Sound since 2022, overseeing Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Swedish Edmonds, and the Swedish Mill Creek Ambulatory Care Center, according to the article.
In 2015, Carrington began working with Swedish as director of acute care at Swedish First Hill. She was promoted to chief nursing officer in 2018, and later served in regional and divisional chief nursing roles. Previously, she served as director of nursing at Keck Medical Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, MSN reported.
