Sumner Apartment Complex Receives $52M Refinance Loan

Mesa West Capital has provided Timberlane Partners with a $52-million short-term, first-mortgage loan to refinance its Sumner Mill Apartments property.

The Sumner apartment complex is a 162-unit multifamily community with a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Its amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, dog park, picnic area, and EV-charging parking spaces.

“The Pacific Northwest remains an attractive region for investment, particularly in suburban locations where affordability, quality-of-life considerations and limited new supply continue to support apartment demand,” Steve Fried, Mesa West’s principal and head of originations, said in a release.

The financing was arranged by BWE’s Jake Roberts in the firm’s Los Angeles office, the release said.
