Tacoma Gets a New Sauna, Cold Plunge Spot

It’s time to take the plunge.
Earlier this month, a new, inclusive wellness studio, Plunge + Restore, opened its doors to the public. Located in downtown Tacoma at 1101 Fawcett Ave. Suite 111, the organization specializes in cold plunges and saunas and also has yoga classes. The studio has two baths for cold plunges, two saunas, and an open space for yoga and meditation.
The business is owned and operated by Toni Fuqua, a mindfulness meditation teacher and certified cold-water-therapy practitioner. She opened her studio with the hopes of making mindfulness and meditation more accessible to the public, the Tacoma News Tribune reported.
Currently, drop-in hour rates at Plunge + Restore are $28, with a monthly membership that ranges from $85-150.
