WSECU Names New CEO After Nationwide Search

Olympia-based credit union WSECU has named Harry Zhu as its next president and CEO.

He will succeed Gary Swindler, who is retiring next month after 37 years with the company, which has locations across Washington.

Previously, Zhu spent 13 years with Alliant Credit Union, where he held several senior leadership positions. Most recently he served as CEO of USAlliance Federal Credit Union in New York.

“I am honored to be joining the team at WSECU,” Zhu said in a recent news release. “What drew me to this opportunity was the credit union’s uncompromising focus on members’ needs, its appetite for innovation, reputation as a community partner, and the exceptional employees who bring their best to serving members every day.”
