A long-term crash that blocked two lanes of northbound I-5 in Southcenter caused miles of backup Wednesday morning.

KIRO Radio’s Chris Sullivan reports there was 10 miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic from Federal Way north to Southcenter.

It took drivers up to two hours to get from Federal Way to Seattle, according to Sullivan.

Though the crash cleared just before 7 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation said residual delays lasted through the morning commute.
