Dec 29, 2014, 12:02 PM | Updated: 12:15 pm

Three men were arrested on suspicion of breaking into a West Seattle home and stealing a diamond ring while the homeowner hid in the closet Sunday afternoon.

The woman told police she heard voices outside her home in the 6000 block of 26th Avenue Southwest around noon. She hid in the closet before hearing glass break and people moving around inside.

Officers arrived and found two men running out of the front gate and a third man, acting as a lookout, on the stairs.

One of the suspects dropped a diamond ring before officers nabbed all three men. The woman also identified two small containers of marijuana the suspects stole.

All three men were booked into King County Jail.
