520 bridge closure, big events may cause weekend traffic delays

The I-90 bridge will be your only way across Lake Washington this weekend. There are also a couple big events that could impact your weekend travel.
The 520 bridge is closing at 11 p.m. Friday night, and it will be closed until Monday morning.
Steve Strand, the assistant project manager for the 520 bridge replacement project, says this is the nineteenth closure.
“The end is near for the Eastside project. We’re plugging away this summer and hope to get most of this all wrapped-up by December 2013.”
There are also two major events in Seattle this weekend. Kenny Chesney has a concert Saturday night at Century Link, and the Race for the Cure is Sunday.
