A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of British Columbia around 7 a.m. Friday.

The earthquake was located 187 KM West of Bella Bella, Canada, according to the USGS. It was measured at a depth of 6.2 miles.

The National Tsunami Warning Center said it does not expect a tsunami.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries, according to The Vancouver Sun.
