Accused Molly Conley killer expected back in court

Jul 19, 2013, 5:10 AM | Updated: 8:11 am

The Marysville man accused of murdering high school freshman Molly Conley is facing a first degree murder charge and could spend the rest of his life in prison, if convicted.

The Snohomish County prosecutor’s office said Erick Walker “exhibited extreme indifference to human life” when they said he opened fire June 1 into a crowd of young girls walking around Lake Stevens.

The 27-year-old Boeing employee is charged with first degree murder in the case.

The Herald reports the court documents accuse Walker of having a premeditated intent to kill when he pulled up alongside the group and fired, killing 15-year-old Conley.

He is expected back in court Friday.

The police have not found the bullet that killed Conley.
