Apartment fire in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood upgraded to 2-alarm response

Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews are responding to a three-story apartment building fire in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood on Thursday morning.
SFD first responded at around 6:20 a.m.
By 7 a.m., SFD had water on the fire and reported that it was burning in the attic void space of the third floor.
A couple of minutes later, the incident was upgraded to a 2-alarm fire for additional resources.
KIRO 7 has a crew on the scene and will update this story with any new information.
