Two bodies found in an Everett, Wash., apartment have been identified as those of a 50-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son.
The medical examiner identified the dead as Sandra L. Williams of Everett and Spencer L. Williams.
The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office says the cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
“It doesn’t appear that any foul play was involved,” said Everett police Officer Aaron Snell.
According to officers – who had to unlock the apartment door – how the apartment had been left and where the bodies were discovered lead them to believe the deaths were not because of foul play.
Snell says officers responding to neighbors’ complaints about a bad smell went to the Huntington Park Apartments earlier Monday and found the bodies. Snell says they had been there for a significant period of time.
