For the second time this year, a Boeing factory worker at the Everett plant has been seriously injured on the job.

A Boeing worker was pinned between two wing parts on a 747 Monday night at Paine Field.

Emergency workers were able to get him out and treat him until paramedics arrived.

Boeing is investigating the accident, but it didn’t release any details.

This is the second time in six weeks a worker has been injured at the plant.

A worker was run over by the landing gear of a 787 in February as the plane was being rolled outside the factory.

The man from Monday’s incident was taken to Providence Medical Center with what were described as serious injuries.

Boeing spokesman Jim Proulx said in a statement that the company is focusing on the “welfare of the injured employee and the family.”

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
