Part of a building collapsed in Aberdeen Wednesday morning.
The building crumbled due to high winds in the area.
The left lane and sidewalk in the 2800 block of East Wishkah were closed during the morning commute.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a wind advisory for western Washington from 4 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday.
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” NWS stated. “Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.”
But as of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, 179,153 people are without power in Washington, according to poweroutage.com.
