Capitol Hill Block Party lineup revealed

The Capitol Hill Block Party has grown
into one of the most anticipated events of the local
summer concert season. And the lineup has just been
released, promising to make for a whole lot of happy
hipsters to the three-day festival.
The headliners include popular singer-songwriter Neko
Case, indie darlings Fitz and the Tantrums, Major Lazer,
Phantogram, The Lumineers, Grimes, Aesop Rock w/ Rob Sonic
& DJ Big Wiz, Youth Lagoon and more.
The Block Party runs July 20-22 and features six stages
and over 100 bands spanning a six block area on Capitol
Hill.
The festival focuses on so-called “indie music” with a mix
of national and local acts. It has grown markedly each
year since it’s inception, expanding in recent years to
three days and drawing over 10,000 people a day.
Tickets are $75 for a three-day pass until April 24th,
then $85 after.
