Car falls 20 feet feet off West Seattle Bridge, driver injured

The driver of a car that crashed off a portion of the West Seattle Bridge Saturday afternoon left the scene with minor injuries. (KIRO 7)

A car crashed off a portion of the West Seattle Bridge Saturday afternoon. The driver suffered “very minor injuries,” Seattle fire officials said.

The driver told KIRO 7 his worst injury was a thorn in his leg from a blackberry bush. The man was successfully freed from his car, which fell about 20 feet.
