A Rainier Valley apartment complex was fitted with a new feature Thursday morning, a black PT Cruiser through a ground floor wall.
A man driving away from a disturbance at a nearby business plowed into the building on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Walden Street.
According to Renee Witt with Seattle Police, “After crashing his vehicle into the apartment complex he apparently freed himself and was going to run away from the scene leaving behind his passenger who was trapped inside his vehicle.”
The driver tried to fight with responding officers before his arrest.
The passenger sustained some injuries in the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital.
