After a long pause spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic, Cathay Pacific is once again offering nonstop flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Hong Kong, beginning March 30, 2026.

The airline first launched the route in 2019 and has announced it will now resume flights five times per week using its Airbus A350-900 aircraft, according to KIRO 7.

Nonstop Seattle, Hong Kong flights return

The plane is configured to carry 250 passengers, with seating across business, premium economy, and economy classes. The return of this route marks another step in the ongoing recovery of international air travel and is expected to boost both business and leisure travel between the Pacific Northwest and Asia.

Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho welcomed the announcement, highlighting the significance of restoring direct connectivity to one of Asia’s most influential cities.
