Seattle author Charles Cross says plain and simple, he misses Kurt Cobain.
It’s been 20 years on Saturday, April 5 since Cobain committed suicide at his Seattle home.
Cross says the one term that a suicide expert has used to explain why Cobain took his own life is he suffered from what they called the perceived burdensomeness syndrome. In other words, he thought the world would be a better place without him. Cross believes Cobain’s stomach issues and shame he felt about his heroin addiction also played a role.
Cobain has a new book out this year “Here We Are Now: The Lasting Impact of Kurt Cobain.”
