A second Chili’s is opening in Washington, this time within Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

The chain restaurant is set to open by late May or early June, timed to coincide with an estimated 750,000 fans visiting Seattle to take part in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, joining the location in Spokane as the only other one in the state.

The Chili’s will be located in SEA’s newest expansion of Concourse C.

Airport officials told FOX 13 that there has been strong interest in Chili’s returning after all its locations in the state closed.

“Chili’s has become a real popular item that we’re kind of surprised about because, apparently, we’re the only one that would be on the west side of the state,” Perry Cooper, spokesperson for SEA, stated.

SEA’s Concourse C to nearly triple in size with a $399 million expansion

SEA is wrapping up its roughly $399 million expansion project on Concourse C just in time for an influx of travelers.

Concourse C will nearly triple in size, increasing the existing 81,000-square-foot building into a 226,530-square-foot facility, including a “wish list of amenities.”

Airport officials have noted that the expansion will address a strong need for additional passenger space in one of the airport’s most high-traffic areas.

Concourse C will feature a wide range of dining options, including local favorites and national chains such as Chili’s, Great State Burger, and Buffalo Wild Wings, among others.

Other features will include art installations throughout the concourse, like multiple video walls, an art wall, and a “Lookout at C sculpture.”
