Three lanes of northbound I-405 near SR 167 are now reopened following a rollover collision Friday morning.
WSDOT initially said that it would take “a while to clear the collision”, and that a sizable emergency response was on-site.
Close to 9 a.m., the rolled-over car was flipped back onto its wheels. That said, WSDOT noted that “it’s still going to be a mess through Renton for awhile,” with traffic in the area backed up for a couple miles following the initial blockage.

Drivers in the area should consider alternative routes for the latter half of the morning. KIRO Radio Traffic Reporter Tracy Taylor recommends taking the West Valley Highway, and to head northbound over to SR 169, or “bail from 405 to surface streets.”
