No head tax: Construction workers drown out Kshama Sawant

Construction workers drowned out Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant as she attempted to speak about the proposed head tax.

“No head tax,” they continually chanted whenever she tried to speak.

The confrontation followed the announcement that Amazon had stopped development in Seattle as the city council mulls over a tax on the biggest businesses in the city.
