2 people dead, 1 in hospital after crash in Everett

Several people were involved in a deadly crash in Everett Friday.

Two people died, and another was taken to the hospital, the Everett Fire Department reported via Facebook. There were also two other people involved.

The road is closed at 19th Avenue Southeast between 100th and 102nd Street Southeast while police investigate.

Everett Fire noted that the incident was originally reported as a car fire, but there was no fire.

The road is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time.
