Seattle Police detectives are investigating after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted Monday evening in West Seattle.

According to SPD, around 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of an injured woman in the Delridge neighborhood. 

Officers and a K9 team searched the area for the suspect but were unable to find him. Medics transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.

Police obtained information about a person of interest in the case, a man who was seen in the area wearing a black Air Jordan hooded sweatshirt, a yellow medical mask, black athletic shorts, and slide sandals.

Sexual Assault Unit detectives continue to investigate.

Tacoma police make arrest after parking lot shooting

 On July 30, 2022, the Tacoma Police Department received a report of two males shooting at each other in a parking lot in the 5300 block of S. Orchard St. Further calls reported one of the males had been shot, and the other had fled the area.

Officers arrived on the scene and found one man unresponsive. Tacoma Fire Department personnel declared him dead at the scene. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 39-year-old Ronnal Hines.

Tacoma detectives and crime scene technicians established probable cause to arrest a suspect in this homicide. On August 16, just before 3:30 p.m., officers arrested a 25-year-old male suspect in Tacoma for the murder of Ronnal Hines. The suspect was booked into Pierce County Jail for murder in the first degree.

Redmond police on the lookout for two men using fake IDs

Redmond Police seek the public’s help in identifying two males using fraudulent IDs in multiple states. The first subject attempted to open bank accounts with another person’s ID, and the second subject rented a car with a fraudulent ID. Alleged car thief caught on camera; police on the hunt

Redmond Police are searching for an alleged car thief caught on surveillance video.

Officers say July 31, in the 15600 block of NE 40th St in Redmond, a man stole a red, 4-door, 2012 Hyundai Sante Fe from outside the Eaves Apartments in Redmond.

The suspect has been identified, and detectives are following up on tips to find him.
