Gas station clerk kills armed robber
Auburn Police Officers responded to the Shell Gas Station at 2nd at Auburn Way South, Monday night at 11:46.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 19-year-old man in the parking lot had died from a gunshot wound.
The initial investigation shows the male attempted to rob the Shell and was shot and killed by the clerk, who was armed.
Patrol located a gun on the suspect, and Auburn Detectives have taken over the investigation.
There is no threat to the public.
Officers looking for armed robber after fleeing on foot
Monday morning at 3:30 Auburn Police Officers responded to the 400 Block of 21st Street for reports of an armed robbery. When officers got on scene, the suspect took off in a Brown Jeep Cherokee and a vehicle pursuit followed.
The suspect eventually crashed his vehicle into the Muckleshoot Cemetery Gate and left the scene on foot. Officers tried to follow but lost him.

Gun confiscated from woman at Torchlight Parade
Seattle Police Officers working at the Torchlight Parade Saturday night seized a stolen gun after a woman used it to threaten someone.
Police arrested a 22-year-old suspect and booked her into King County Jail for felony harassment and possession of a stolen firearm.
Shooting in Tacoma leaves one dead
Sunday morning at 3:40 a.m., Tacoma Police received a call about a possible shooting in the area of 400 Dock Street. Officers received a call from a local hospital saying a 30-year-old man and 26-year-old man arrived in a vehicle at the emergency room, and both appeared to have gunshot wounds. Once officers arrived at the ER, both had gunshot wounds.
The 30-year-old has died in the hospital, the 26-year-old victim was released from the hospital.
This is being investigated as a homicide.
