Death of 13-year-old boy in Pacific called homicide

A 13-year old boy is dead in Pacific, Pierce County and
police are calling the death a homicide.

A police spokeswoman says a call came in to 911 at about
3:00 a.m. from a woman who reported her two teenage
children
missing. Officers responding to the Cobble Court
Apartments,
on Ellingson Road, found the boy dead in a bedroom.

The boy’s sister, 16, was found in the nearby town
of Algona with what the police spokeswoman calls “non
life-
threatening injuries. She was found with a 19-year-old man
who was questioned and is being held on suspicion of First
Degree murder.

KING-5 reports neighbors said they heard
yelling coming
from the apartment around 11:00 p.m. Thursday night.
